HOW TO FIND THE BEST FIT FOR YOUR GOALKEEPER GLOVES
While most people have found the best size for their shoes, the perfect fit for a goalkeeper glove alludes most. There are several reasons for this with the most glaring being the lack of a sizing chart on most websites that sell goalkeeper gloves along with most companies sizes being slightly different. This blog post will show how to measure your hand and gloves to find the best fit available for you. When shopping for goalkeeper gloves it is interesting to note that companies such as Adidas and Nike do not provide a size guide to their gloves. Furthermore, Adidas and Nike do not give the measurements of their gloves. When measuring your hand, the best way to determine your size is to measure from the tip of the middle finger to the bottom of the palm for length. The width measurement goes from the palm above the thumb to the outside of the palm. The Length of my hand using the above measurement guide is 18.5cm with the width being 10cm.
The same measurement principles are applied when measuring a glove with length from the tip of the middle finger to the bottom of the palm. Additionally, the width measurements are the same. When choosing a size, it is important to round up to find the best fit with my measurements of 18.5cm and width of 10cm giving the best fit in the size 9.5 for all models of goalkeeping 365 gloves. Moreover, you always want to choose a size that is larger than your hand measurements with the width of the glove at least one centimeter wider than your hand. Also, the length of the glove should be at least 2cm larger than the length of your hand. We hope these principles help you achieve the perfect fit.
